BED & BREAKFAST RATES
Our rates include a traditional cooked-to-order breakfast and VAT at the current rate. Room and Suite rates are quoted per room, per night, based on the occupancy specified at the time of booking. Please note that our Best Available Bed & Breakfast rate is non-commissionable.
ADVANCED PURCHASE RATE
When booking an Advance Purchase Rate your credit card will be charged for the entire stay at the time of booking and the charge is completely non-refundable. A cancellation or change will result in forfeit of the amount charged.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.
For group bookings of five (5) or more rooms, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking. Group bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
For Rob Jacob Suite reservations, a non-refundable 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION / AMENDMENT POLICY
We recommend that guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance, as cancellation charges will apply in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Room Reservations
For room reservations of up to and including three (3) nights booked directly with the hotel, a minimum of 72 hours' notice is required for cancellations or amendments.
For reservations of four (4) nights or more, or multiple-room bookings of four (4) rooms or more, a minimum of seven (7) days' notice is required for cancellations or amendments.
Suite Reservations
For suite reservations, a minimum of seven (7) days' notice before arrival is required for cancellations or amendments.
Rob Jacob Suite Reservations
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking.
Reservations may be amended up to 30 days before arrival, subject to availability. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will incur the full accommodation charge.
Group Bookings
Group bookings are subject to the cancellation terms specified within the relevant group contract.
Where sufficient notice is not provided, full accommodation charges will apply and will be deducted from the credit card supplied to guarantee the booking.
A 100% cancellation fee will apply to non-arrivals (no-shows).
Should you need to cancel your reservation, please visit www.tridenthotel.com. You will need your booking reference number and the email address used at the time of booking to complete the cancellation. Guests are advised to retain a copy of their cancellation confirmation email for their records.
All cancellations must be made online via the website and cannot be processed directly by the hotel by telephone or email.
CAR PARKING
Limited on-site car parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
General parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance. Guests staying in the Rob Jacob Suite will enjoy the convenience of two reserved parking spaces.
The hotel accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to vehicles or their contents while parked on hotel property.
CHILD POLICY
Children are welcome at the hotel and may be accommodated in a range of room categories, subject to occupancy limits and room suitability.
The Rob Jacob Suite is suitable for children aged 12 years and over only. Children staying in the Rob Jacob Suite must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for their care and supervision at all times.
Specific occupancy limits, child policies and supplementary charges (where applicable) for other room categories will be communicated at the time of booking.
HENS / STAGS
To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all guests, the hotel does not accommodate hen parties, stag parties or similar group celebrations.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse, amend or cancel reservations where bookings are deemed unsuitable for the property.
THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS
If your reservation was made through a third-party website (including but not limited to Booking.com or Expedia), any amendments, cancellations or refund requests must be arranged directly with the booking provider, as the hotel is unable to make changes to third-party reservations.
NON-SMOKING POLICY
For the comfort of all guests, all guestrooms, suites and public areas are strictly non-smoking.
A designated outdoor smoking area is available for guests. A charge will apply should any guest be found smoking, or where evidence of smoking is found, within guestrooms, suites or public areas of the hotel.
DAMAGE TO HOTEL PROPERTY
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel's property or structure. Should damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to charge the guest's credit/debit card or issue an invoice to the registered address. In severe cases, the guest will be liable for any loss of revenue suffered by the hotel while a room or facility is being repaired or restored.
GUEST CONDUCT
To ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests, noise levels should be kept to a minimum, particularly during late evening and overnight hours.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation or request the departure of any guest whose behaviour is considered disruptive, offensive, abusive, threatening, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate.
LIABILITY
While every effort is made to ensure the safety and security of guests and their belongings, the hotel cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items, valuables or vehicles while on the property, except where liability arises under applicable law.
PET POLICY
Except for registered assistance dogs, pets are not permitted within the hotel or guest accommodation.
FORCE MAJEURE
The hotel shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfil its obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, utility failures, industrial action, acts of terrorism or other unforeseen events.
PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
All personal information provided during the reservation process is handled securely and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Guest information is used solely for reservation management, guest services, communication relating to reservations, and compliance with legal obligations.
